No. iOS doesn’t let third-party apps read battery or processor temperature. Sabja shows Apple’s Thermal State: Nominal, Fair, Serious, or Critical.
How to check iPhone temperatureIt’s the signal iOS uses to manage thermal pressure, with four levels. Apple defines Nominal as within normal limits, Fair as slightly elevated, Serious as high, and Critical as significantly affecting performance, where the device needs to cool down.
What each Thermal State meansYes. Apple says using an iPhone in very hot conditions can permanently shorten battery life, and that charging in the heat damages it further. Lost capacity doesn’t come back.
How heat affects battery healthBuyers and trade-in partners can see Maximum Capacity in Settings › Battery › Battery Health, and heat permanently lowers it. Spending less time hot helps protect that number. Sabja can’t promise a price, and other factors like condition and model matter too.

Common causes of iPhone heatStop the heavy task, unplug it, take off the case, and leave it in the shade on a hard surface. Don’t use a fridge, freezer, ice, or water, because a sudden temperature drop can cause condensation.
Safe cooling stepsCharging produces some heat, and fast or wireless charging can add more. If it gets hot rather than warm, unplug it, take off the case, and let it cool before charging again.
Charging heat explainedGames keep the processor, graphics, display, and network busy at once. Unplug while you play, lower brightness or graphics settings, and take a short break when Thermal State rises.
Play cooler for longerApple recommends turning it off, moving it somewhere cooler and out of direct sunlight, and letting it cool. Wait for it to return to normal rather than forcing a rapid temperature change.
Safe cooling stepsNo. No app can. Sabja tells you when your Thermal State rises, so you know when a short break, unplugging, or taking off the case will help.
