Sabja Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

Thank you for using Sabja. This Privacy Policy explains what information Sabja can access, why access is needed, and how your information is handled.

Short version: Sabja keeps core app data on your device. If you turn on Share Thermal State, Sabja stores device records in your private iCloud database so you can view them across your Apple devices and in the All Devices widget. We do not sell your personal data. Sabja may collect app usage data through Firebase Analytics to improve the app, and you can opt out from the Settings tab.

1. Information We Collect

Sabja does not require account creation and does not ask for personal profile details like your name, phone number, or address.

2. Permissions Sabja May Use

You can manage or revoke Location and Notification permissions from your device settings at any time.

3. How Sabja Uses Information

4. Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising or cross-app tracking.

If analytics is enabled, app usage events are processed by Firebase Analytics by Google. If Smart Suggestions use weather support, location data may be shared only as needed with Apple Weather (WeatherKit) to provide that feature. If you purchase or restore Sabja Pro, purchase and subscription information is processed by RevenueCat to manage your access.

5. Third-Party Services

6. Data Storage and Retention

App settings and preferences are stored locally on your device and protected by Apple's platform security features. Since most app data is stored locally, you control retention by deleting app data or removing Sabja from your device.

If you contact support by email, the information you provide is retained in that email thread for support follow-up.

Sharing Thermal State between your devices

Sabja can show the Thermal State of your Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple Vision Pro) in the app and in the All Devices widget. Sharing is off until you turn on Share Thermal State in Settings › My Devices.

When sharing is on, each device stores a small record in your private iCloud database containing:

Thermal State is a qualitative indication of system thermal pressure; Sabja does not record or display exact degrees.

These records are available only to your devices signed in to the same Apple ID. The developer cannot read your private iCloud database. The device name is stored encrypted by iCloud. Sabja also keeps a local copy of the device list so the app and the All Devices widget can display it.

Turning off Share Thermal State deletes the local device list and asks iCloud to remove that device’s record. Removal from iCloud requires a successful connection; if it fails, the record may remain until it is removed manually or cleaned up as inactive.

Settings › My Devices also lets you remove other devices. A device that still has sharing enabled may appear again when it next checks in. Records for other devices that have not checked in for 30 days are deleted automatically during a device-list refresh while sharing is enabled; cleanup depends on a successful iCloud connection.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

If Sabja offers an auto-renewable subscription, billing is handled by Apple through your App Store account. Subscription terms, price, billing period, and auto-renew behavior are shown in the app before purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account Settings. Subscription status is managed with RevenueCat, as described above.

8. Children's Privacy

Sabja is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as features evolve or legal requirements change. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page.
